In response to the emergence of Data Centers, new AI technology demands and the anticipated impact to the power distribution grid, ENERCON has aligned strategic partnerships with leaders in the industry to offer full turnkey solutions and services to our utility, power generation, and data center mission critical partners. For this project, ENERCON designed a new catwalk & cable support tray system for an existing data center. Here are the key elements of the project:

• Our project management team met with the client to understand the full needs for the client.
• Full MEP/FP/SA services to design a new elevated catwalk and cable tray support system (740 ft. long, and 18 ft. AFF) in the main corridor of an existing data center.
• Performed finite element modeling to significantly reduce the number of added columns and beams in order to provide constructible solutions within the space constraints of the existing corridor.
• Provided electrical power and lighting design for the catwalk, assessed impacts to existing HVAC and Fire Protection elements, and Architectural egress considerations.
• Completed full solution for new catwalk & cable tray support system.
