Once the decommissioning field activities have been completed, the owner of the facility is not released from its obligations and responsibilities until the prescribed end state of the site has been achieved, verified, and all of the controlling requirements have been met. ENERCON can help clients define a proposed end state based on projections of potential dose to members of the public based on potential subsequent use of the site once decommissioning has been completed. Our personnel understand these requirements and ENERCON can assist in preparing the final project documentation to show that all requirements have been met. If the facility has not been released for unrestricted release, our personnel can assist in developing monitoring requirements and establishing a long term monitoring program. We can interface with the regulatory or controlling body to ensure that the final requirements have been met. ENERCON project closeout services include:
- Final Report Preparation
- Records Preparation & Disposition
- Long-Term Monitoring Programs
- Site or Deed Restrictions for Restricted Sites
